I. General Provisions

This Privacy Policy defines how personal data of Users, necessary for providing electronic services via the website www.michaelzett.com (hereinafter: the Service), is collected, processed, and stored.

The Service collects only the personal data necessary for the provision and development of the services offered.

Personal data collected through the Service is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter: GDPR), as well as the Polish Data Protection Act of May 10, 2018.

  • Debt collection,
  • Establishing, asserting, or defending legal claims.

Providing data is voluntary but necessary to enter into an agreement or use other functionalities of the Service.

IV. Types of Processed Personal Data

The Controller may process the following personal data of the User: name and surname, date of birth, residential address, email address, phone number, and tax identification number (NIP).

V. Data Retention Period

Personal data will be processed for:

  • The duration necessary to fulfill the contract—until the expiration of claims following contract completion,
  • If processing is based on consent—until its withdrawal, and afterward, until the expiration of claims.

In both cases, the standard limitation period is six years, while claims related to periodic benefits and business activities are subject to a three-year limitation period (unless otherwise specified by law).

VI. Sharing Personal Data

User data may be shared with:

  • Entities affiliated with the Controller, subcontractors, and partners, such as electronic payment service providers, courier/postal service providers, and law firms.
  • User data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

VII. User Rights

Users of the Service have the right to:

  • Access their personal data,
  • Rectify, delete, or restrict processing of their data,
  • Data portability,
  • Object to data processing,
  • Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal).

The Controller will process or reject requests without delay, but no later than one month from receipt.

Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if they believe their rights under the GDPR have been violated.

Cookies support proper service functionality and serve statistical purposes.

IX. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

The Controller reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy, but no changes will limit User rights.

Any changes will be announced via a notification on the Service.
